A Quiet Guesthouse Run by Two

My aunt, Ms. Irie, once ran a Zenkonyado called "Utangura" in Kagawa.
The pilgrims she welcomed lovingly called her "Mom," and many said,
"I want to come see you again." She was that kind of person.

I was born and raised in Maizuru.
To be honest, I'm a bit shy.
I love reading and often get absorbed in games.
I try to do things seriously, but I’m not the most efficient type—
maybe a little clumsy when it comes to adult life.

After closing her Zenkonyado, my aunt moved in with my mother, her younger sister.
She looked at me and said, “Let’s turn this house into a guesthouse.”
She invested her time and care, and transformed our family home, full of memories,
into a warm and welcoming place.

Now, the two of us run this guesthouse together.
We may not offer fancy hospitality,
but we're confident we can provide you with peace and quiet.
At first, I was nervous talking to guests,
but if it’s about books or games, I surprisingly find it easy to connect.
As for my aunt—well, she’ll probably find some way to take care of you (with a smile).
